Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Henry, operated by Double Springs Technology, LLC (“Henry,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or using Henry, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Henry is an AI-powered family meal planning application that generates personalized weekly meal plans, builds grocery shopping lists, and integrates with food delivery and grocery ordering services. Henry is available at henry.kitchen and as a mobile application.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Henry account. By using Henry, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Henry is intended for personal household use only.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@henry.kitchen if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial

Henry offers a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Subscription Plans

Henry offers the following subscription plans:

  • Monthly: $9.99 per month, billed monthly
  • Annual: $79.99 per year, billed annually

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. For subscriptions through Apple App Store, renewal is charged to your Apple ID account within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Account → Manage Billing or through your Apple ID Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days advance notice. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe (for web subscriptions) or Apple (for App Store subscriptions). We do not store your payment card information.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Henry only for lawful personal household meal planning purposes. You may not:

  • Share your account credentials with others outside your household
  • Use Henry for commercial purposes without our written consent
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract Henry's source code
  • Use Henry in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Henry's systems or other users' accounts
  • Upload or transmit malicious code or content

6. AI-Generated Content

Henry uses artificial intelligence to generate meal plans, recipes, and grocery lists. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated meal plans are suggestions only and may not always be appropriate for your specific health needs
  • Henry's meal suggestions do not constitute medical, nutritional, or dietary advice
  • You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you have medical conditions or food allergies
  • AI systems can make errors — you are responsible for reviewing meal plans and ingredient lists before purchasing or consuming
  • Henry makes reasonable efforts to respect dietary restrictions and allergies you specify but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy

7. Third-Party Services

Henry integrates with third-party services including Instacart, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Amazon. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Henry is not responsible for the actions, content, or practices of third-party services.

Henry participates in affiliate programs. When you make purchases through Henry's links, Henry may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay.

8. Intellectual Property

Henry and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Double Springs Technology, LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the household information you provide to Henry. By providing this information, you grant Henry a license to use it to provide and improve the service.

9. Disclaimers

Henry is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that Henry will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that meal plans will meet your specific nutritional requirements or health needs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Double Springs Technology, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Henry. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of Henry shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Double Springs Technology, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Henry or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. Upon termination, your right to use Henry ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hinds County, Mississippi.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice in the app. Continued use of Henry after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
